Registered Nurse

During Covid, I renewed my nursing license and became a substitute nurse for Eanes schools. The students and staff were amazingly resilient in those trying times. I received an EANESpiration Heroes Award for my work at Cedar Creek. I also continued my education and got certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant. I feel very privileged to work with the law firm of Ballard & Simmons where we defend health care providers.

Westlake Chamber of Commerce

I'm on the Board of Directors for the chamber! I'm also an ambassador and proud graduate of the Leadership Class last year. My passion for developing leaders continues as I now co-chair the leadership program. I love supporting our local businesses and connecting them to the events in our community that will keep them thriving. I was surprised with a Member of the Quarter Award and realized how far my journey had really come—from classroom parent to community advocate! I own my very own small business here in Westlake.

Proud Eanes Parent

For the last decade, I have been volunteering on our campuses and serving on district-level committees. We moved here right after my son was born! Now a middle school mom, I started out on the Cedar Creek Campus serving as an office volunteer, room mom, EEF Gala Committee, and eventual booster club President! I have served on multiple district level committees. I served on the board-appointed Technology Advisory Committee and I'm currently on the Bond Oversight Committee.

Pop-Up Birthday

I just wrapped up a year of service as Board President for Pop-Up Birthday serving the mission to provide joy, hope and normalcy to children in foster care through a personalized birthday experience. Sometimes children in the foster care system are not celebrated because they move often from home to home – or because parents are taking care of more essential needs. Other times celebrations can be overlooked because the children arrive with no planning whatsoever. Pop up is celebrating 10 years. A double digit birthday is special.  Join us in April to say happy birthday Pop Up at Pop Fest

As a leader, I know it's not just about doing the work. It's about inquiring, advocating and connecting with the passion and talent around you. That's what makes Westlake neighbors so special!!! Let's talk!
